Life…On Pain

There will be times of woe

There will be times of want

There will be times of knee shattering pain.

Know it, expect it, accept it.

 

Don’t pretend

Don’t medicate

Don’t temporize

Cry it, heal it, accept it.

 

But do not seek it

Do not fan the flames

Do not make it harder than it has to be

Do not stay when all is done and it is time to move ahead

Do not cling to pain because it is easier…uncomfortable and yet not.

If you resist these mistakes then,

 

There will be times of love

There will be times of fulfilment

There will be times of mind-blowing joy

Times of genuine gratitude that fills your heart
